Beautiful sunset and beautiful photo. And, it proves my point. Imagine that a painter painted clouds like that. I have done so and been criticized for it as the clouds not looking natural. What is that black thing in the water? Great composition, clarity and framing. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you so much for the great review! I know what you mean about the clouds. Maybe show those people a photograph of clouds like these! I think the black thing in the water is some kind of small boat.

Excellent choice of subject in gorgeous Subtle illumination.
Third Grid rule adherence with the leveled horizon on the lower portion but the boat dead centered.
It would have been nice if you capture that cute subject a few seconds before...
But still a very visually soothing & appealing image.
Good perspective & long depth of field...

This is a magnificently colored sunset. Deep and rich in warmth. I like the subtle reflections in the water and this must have been a remarkable view from being on the water. Wonderfully captured illumination of the sky with the fading colors. So natural.

Your photo is crisp and clear and the boat is standing out sharp and well defined. I also think the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is very good, apart from the centered boat, but this is still an all together truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
