This is beautiful landscape photography. The clarity of the image is good. The all pervading blue colours of various hues is so pleasing to see! The light and shadows and the framing have worked well. Good luck!

you did a good job here even if covered in sand and salt, lol, I like the unusual shape of the building in the middle which leads the eye
to the deep and rich blue sky which stands out well in a block colour, I like the tight crop at the bottom which lifts the eye
up, good contest entry, good luck.

Is this Portsmouth, Maine? I know you said Portsmouth. It is just that I am not familiar with the architecture across the way. One looks like a head down rat coming from Out of the sky. Is that a sculpture? Nice composition and framing and good and sharp focus. Good entry for the contest. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

I have not seen anything from you lately Mike, and then you suddenly turn up with a great looking photo. I would never have guessed that this photo was taken through a dirty window. The tall construction must be a landmark in Portsmouth, and it is standing out so well against the deep blue sky.

Your photo is actually pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in all the buildings. The light is also falling on them in a lovely way, and the exposure is perfect.

The format and the framing is very good and the landmark has got a very good placement a bit off to the left. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Definitely a great entry for the contest as the main color is blue in the sky and it showcases the city line very well. The placement of the horizon line works nicely with the odd high rise building off to the left. Good luck in the contest.

Many thanks for your kind review and comments - much appreciated - It is known as the Spinnaker Tower. Surprisingly it is of only modest height in relation to its surroundings but as the terrain is relatively flat it can be seen for many miles inland.

Quite a grand showing of modern architecture posted here in your fine composition. Wonder what that curved structure is called? Exposure and sharpness are good despite the tricky conditions that you mention. Well done and good luck!
