This is a wonderful shot that shows me something I've never seen before - amazingly sharp and clear - I feel like I'm looking at him from close range. And thank you for the enlightening information about eagles I didn't know before as well a the wonderful rescue story!

Thank you very much Daphne! I do have eagles in my portfolio from the MN Zoo, but this guy was in the wild. I was in a good position higher up and fortunately, he wasn't too far away for my lens like the ones in the wild usually are!! I was in the right place at the right time :)

This close up photo is breathtaking in its beauty and clarity. All details are very sharp, even the texture of the beak. So close up, the open beak is an very unusual sight. The eye and the reflections and shadows in it are especial impressive. The Eagle is exquisitely emphasized by the dark background. The portrait is excellently framed and balanced.

It's an eagle laughing..cool!.the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this eagles facial is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Excellent shot full of detail and power. Great detail, sharp focus on the eye and beak with some fall off as you move to the edges. The eye is beautiful. You can hear the sound coming from the birds cry. Congrats on the awards. Well done.

The leading lines of the head feathers lead to the both the upper and lower beak and the v created by the mouth brings the eye back to the eagles eye.
