This is adorable. I can't believe how long the ears look in the straight up position. The light in the eyes is nice and you captured the lovely rich texture of the fur so well. Your title brings a 1983 Bonnie Tyler song to mind that I can't get out of my head now :)

This is a beautiful shot of this fawn snuggling in the grass.
I love that she is looking right at the camera. Fantastic close up view and beautiful detail in her pretty face. Best of luck in the contest, this would be my winner.

Hope that it was not abandoned with you? Your full and central composition gives us a lovely look at the baby. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Thanks so much for your review- no,it wasn't abandoned, the does would often leave the fawns tucked away on our property, feeling they were safe.I was just very blessed to find at least two of them when they were still young enough to stay where their moms left them;I know one of the does was close by watching me take pictures of her fawn!

Your central composition is strong. I like that you filled your frame with this gorgeous fawn. Superb eye clarity....and I like that you captured the catch light in the fawns eyes. A perfect exposure and white balance. Your spot on sharp focus revealing incredible details. Your play with light and contrast capture his essences and personality. A wonderful moment in time. Thanks for sharing.

what a dear little face.. How cute is this pretty baby fawn.. and what an excellent photo shoot. wonderful exposure, and focus and a well balanced image surrounded by the dark green blades of surrounding grass. His eye markings are spectacular and compliment those little white spots on his body.. He is adorable.. and those ears.. check them out.. they are almost as long as his head... make him look very alert in his early days of life.. thanks for sharing your baby fawn. he's so reviewable.. cheers mel
