Yes, you did get some enjoyable shades and tones in your final image. Think, though that I would have preferred a colour version. Your full and central composition offers us a really good look at your otter. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

Beautiful capture! The river otter looks different then the sea otters, I believe they are a lot smaller too! This is very well photographed , clear with good focus, nice detail in the face and fur, nice sparknin the eye. Well composed giving us a close view! I like the B&W , it's got good tonal variations!
