I seriously want to read these books! I just know I would adore them and I would enjoy sharing them with my little grandson. He loves books. Please don't forget me when you are rich and famous! :) Really though, please let me know when your books are available. I like the idea that Fireball needs to learn how to channel his inner dragon! And he is so cute!

a blue welsh dragon- I always imagined them green! but like this rendition of one. I occassionally delve into this area, but mainly dogs as I am unsure of animals being a city girl, who lived in the country long, long ago. Every so often I prefer to draw animals or plants- a blue dragon, chinese mayhap?

This does not seem like you. Very imaginative and a good entry for the contest. Nice compositiin. I guess it is OK. Maybe I am not seeing the entire image. I would have moved the image a smaller she to the left. Because the light brown things are too close to the edge. Any frame will cover up about half inch. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Nice to meet you Fireball. Love your notes AHRowell.. to accompany your delightful dragon painting. So he's a friendly soul eh.. I thought so.. He has look on his well rendered face that doesn't appear fretful.. Love the rich blue green colour on his face and the nice brush stroke work that highlights above his eyes. The nose and forehead in vibrant orange contrast beautifully and add to his appeal, as do those cute little whiskers that appear on either side of his face.. and beneath his chin. Gives him a real flair.. The interesting pattern of brush strokes on his neck in the slightly darker blue black hues give depth to the photo... well achieved.. His nice bright eyes contrast well with his colourings and tone in nicely with the chosen background. He really does have a friendly expression planted on his face Doesn't he? Sounds like a delightful story book you are creating , with this number one Pet dragon the leading role. awesome. thanks for sharing your fabulous rendition of Fireball. a pleasure to review and best of luck in the contest. cheers mel

A great drawing of this dragon.
It reminds me of the ones from
The Game of Thrones.
Nice blue eye catching color
With lovely dragon details.
A bit animated but I think that is what you were going for.
Very nice work.

Interesting story outline! A fine acrylic painting. I am sure as you progress with your story, we will get to see a more fiercer fire spitting dragon. Thanks for sharing! Good luck!

I bet this is a wonderful story about Fireball and children will love it. I like how you used your palette knife to show the scales on his back. I like the simple colour scheme as it makes it more dramatic. Very imaginative work. Lovely composition. Suzanne
