The scene is well captured with good placement of subject in frame.

The image is well focused and clear.

All the technical aspects of this take are well inside the optimum range.

The colors are vivid and work in harmony with each other.

Hi avMurray thanks for sharing this colourful scene of your box of pencils.. Such a delightful array of colours and shapes to tantalize the eye. Your photo is well balanced and with excellent exposure and lighting. I like the addition of the Letter Pin bold pink tones followed by the continual vertical line of letters to spell pencils. This adds a nice touch of interest and draws the eye into the scene. The pencil box with lid nicely positioned next to it is well placed, boasting its delightful floral arrangement of whites pinks blues and greens.. The pencils in the foreground lying horizontally work well to give perspective to the photo. and a sense of depth. I like your choice of background tones. in a diagonal line .. The use of the diagonal splashes of colour compliments the upright position of the box itself. Sometimes the simplest of things around the house can create some interesting and appealing photos. You have done a great job of bringing a touch of joy to the eye in this pleasing presentation. thanks for sharing. cheers mel
