A good entry into the Abstract in nature shot and stunning shot of the wings of the dragonfly. Beautiful capture of natural light with spot on sharp focus rendering excellent details on the wings. Camera technique is well considered. Sharp focusing with short DOF.
the image is well exposed clear with vivid colors.
Contrast range is short and is supported by a great background bokeh.
Tonal range is consistent across the entire image.
Did you crop the edge of the wing during post processing?
I think this is a super entry for this contest and should do very well ... B-)) Bob

What a great close up of thus dragonfly wing.Your image is exceptionally sharp,veining in the wing is so very crisp and defined. Colors very soft and subtle,beautiful complimenting background color,excellent lighting.Very pleasing to view, a great entry for the contest-best of luck! :)

Nice shot and good clear capture with a good background as well. For purposes of being an abstract I would have gone in even closer so that you didn't have the wing structure. There are many different mosaic scenes you could pick out of this. But then that would be a different image. Well captured.

This is awesome! I like the brown spots against the yellow, and the interesting white patterns throughout this image, without reading the notes I couldn't be sure that this is a wing. Very interesting , visually pleasing composition!
