I think the beach sand was a great idea for the background. No distractions and it adds so much attractive texture to the image. The color is a perfect complimenting tone to the skull. The red flowers area a nice pop pf color.

I like this one a lot! The detail in the skull and his antlers show very well, I like the addition of the three red day-lilies gives a nice unexpected pop of color in this tone on tone composition. I also enjoyed reading your notes! Well presented.

Very Southwest and Georgia O'Keefe inspired. Clear definition and good focus. The background works to establish a minimalist feeling the shot. I am sure many will ascribe a symbolism to the day lilies, even if there is none. Interesting play between the washed out sun faded skull and the bright flowers give emphasis to both. Well done.

a very well put together and thought out photograph, I like all the detail captured in the old antlers and skull
the positioning of the skull is working well, the red add a pop of colour, good luck in the contest.

A beautifully constructed set and a very nice shot, especially for this contest. It is artfully composed and shown in fine detail and great color. Best of luck in the contest.
