Cool and scary looking at the same time- Looks like a plant you would see in "Little Shop of Horrors "! Definitely looks like it has teeth.Focus and depth of field are great, colors vibrant and well saturated.Image is nicely framed within your photo and stands out well against the green foliage-a very interesting and eye pleasing picture to view!

A very interesting flower image, like the note you gave us to read the history of this flower, like how you can see what looks like death, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

"It's ALIVE!" (like a monster alive, not a plant lol) ing those wonky nightmare inducing teeth in just a few days in this pink sphere of fear have evolved, grown and progressed into quite an attractive, colourful flower opening up, captured well close up with sharp focus and short DOF, accentuating the flower further with the blurred green foliage b/g. Tightly cropped and well presented, great work Fred :)

Wow! I so enjoyed reading your artists notes about this most exquisite and useful lotus flower. Nicely portrayed in the square format....with a good perspective. So much beauty captured in this shot....sharp focus, good lighting, incredible details and clarity. Your diffused backdrop accentuates your overall photography. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous specimen.

What a great capture. Have not seen a lotus at this stage or perspective before. Both beautiful and creepy. Excellent clarity and detail on that center make it come alive - all set for a role in Little Shop of Horrors :). Very well done.
