A beautiful picture of this partially open pink Lotus flower giving us a clear view of it's complex arrangement of petals, stamens pistil & developing seed pod in it's heart, beautifully framed by it's green lily pads. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A somewhat amusing picture and dedication to another artist. This does indeed look like a monster from Stat Trek or some other sci-fi movie. Nice colors shapes and forms. Good clear focus. Well controlled.
