Wow! This is one of the most stunning flowers from the Iris family and so is your captured of this exquisite flower. Your use of light and shadows creating depth and interest in your shot. Beautiful shades of purple with that unusual stamen. Beautiful capture of natural light and spot on sharp focus revealing incredible details on this gorgeous flower. Well captured image of an unusual iris. Focus is sharp and the colors are strong. The lighting (bright sun over head) did not help you as some of the details were washed out. Well done

This is so very beautiful ! You have presented it with perfect focus , the details and colors and tonal contrasts are very clear and natural to view, I love the out of center placement of this iris in the frame, it comes forward from background and is complimented by background color tones. Thanks so much for your wonderful review. Glad you enjoyed it. This type of Iris is really unusual in that it closes up into a tight little ball after the sun goes down and reopens the next day when the sun is directly on it. I've never seen anything like it before.

That is very interesting and not like the wild Iris that grows here at all, it is a gorgeous iris and I loved viewing it!
