Sarah, this appears to be a well done portrait shot that captures the young lady very well. It looks like you did a good job of lighting her to get light and shadow to shape her and bring out her spirit. The backdrop does a good job of setting her out. However all of these good things are killed by the texture overlay that distracts and also takes away much of the detail in the picture.

What a wonderful moment you have captured here Sarah. She is simply Glowing with life and vitality. I see that you have given this scene a painted canvas look. I think it takes away from her natural vitality as it loses son of the fineness of her exuberance. Yet I admire your you selection for the medium for her. Great placement in the frame with the dark corners accenting this lovely young woman. Well done Sarah and all the best in the contest ~ Steve

This is very good her definitely think she really knows that she's attractive she's happy and looks energetic captured a good moment in her life you know how girls are when they get their pictures taken good lighting and good detail with just a hint of softness that makes the picture blend well thanks for sharing

expression, all of which would be nice to see better.
It just looks not in focus to me. Perhaps you were going for that look, but I think I'd rather be able to see into her eyes. Good luck in the contest.

Her eyes sparkle even if it teases the viewers just into mere slits...
She has all the factors to look gorgeous in front of your lens.

Hi Sarah thanks for sharing this very pleasant portrait of the young woman, feeling pretty. You have definitely captured a truly gorgeous expression on her face. She has the most angelic look on her face as she adjusts her hair to complete her positive feelings about her presence.. I love the angle used to show off her fine jaw line and most elegant slender neck. Her eyes are gently focused on camera and fill her expression with joy. She appears to feel free and easy in front of the lens, allowing her true self to come forth in the photo. Her gentle smile that shows just the right amount of pearly white teeth emanates happiness and that little dimple showing on her cheek adds to her cuteness.. I love the position of her arm on the left of the photo.. It shows her slender lean muscles nicely and just a hint of chest area as her clothing apparel drapes neatly over her breasts. She has nicely defined cheek bones which are accentuated by her beautiful smile. Her hair is pleasantly lining her pretty forehead as it sweeps back and flows down her shoulders..Her well defined eyebrows are giving indication of a happy expression as they draw my eye further down her face towards her cute little nose.. A very stunning young lady whose expression truly emanates a feeling of love of life and peace within herself. Interesting to see the arm on the right is clothed .. adds to the beauty of the other bare shoulder ... Love the choice of background colour. nicely blended hues of soft flowers that seem to dissipate into the gentle white light that glows around her.. The use of the white hue around her body works brilliantly and really makes her pop.
