How fantastic! I have recently started collecting teacups for tea parties with my daughter and friends. This is just so lovely. What a treat to have coffee with your grandmother's coffee set. Precious!

Your lighting is very nice and accentuates the lovely design and color of the background. I like how the colors in the dishes match their surroundings and the tray pulls everything together nicely. You have a good eye for combining color tones in an artistic and attractive way.

This is a good entry for the contest. I would not ever use the set if it is in mint condition. Could break. Just hand it down through the generations. Nice setup for the Still Life. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

Hi and thanks for sharing this delicate and beautiful coffee pot with its matching sugar bowl, milk jug and the delightful cup and saucer ... What elegant crockery and almost antique. The design work is beautifully detailed and so tastefully presented with the gold inlays around each of the pieces.. The floral display on each is extremely dainty and offer the expression of joy, when each of the pieces is used for its designated purpose. The spout and handle on the coffee pot balance nicely. The same style of handle is displayed on the milk jug and sugar pot, giving the setting pleasing eye appeal. I really love how you have presented the coffee set on the stunning silver tray.. It matches the era of the set beautifully and shows it off perfectly. The inclusion of the red rose is just divine. Brings a feeling of warmth and a touch of joy to the whole scene. The background is a lovely compliment with its intricate design and hues that blend nicely with the flowers in the setting. Even the little doily is a pleasing addition, giving the scene a personal and homely feel. The biscuits on the side are a nice gesture for those ready to share the coffee. I'm a big coffee lover so this popped out at me right away. For a 90 year old set it looks immaculate! The picture is very warm and cozy and I love the pop of color from the rose.

I love this and think it will do well in the still life contest. The colors are all very subtle earth tones which all harmonize well together. The red rose on the right stands out and attracts your eye. Very pleasing composition.

Nice shot.
I think I have a similar set from my great aunt that she brought over from Italy 100 years ago or so.
I like the dark vignetting and slight sepia. It adds to the old fashioned look if you will.
