The amount of detail that can be seen on the bug is amazing. The various shades of green are lovely and your background accentuates the tones so nicely.

We are supposed to have these Green Shield bugs in Florida by the thousands. Never seen one.. THANKFULLY!
I really love the green on green, the sharp focus, the soft opaque background and the shine on this stink bugs armor.
Your work is always magical and dreamy.
You even make stink bugs look elegant!
Fine work Cara!!

This is a fine idea for a work in shades of green because there are a lot of those shades. Even the brushed background has several shades. The branch and the leaves are standing nicely out from the background. The little bug is standing out from the leaves nicely and even as little as it is, it is the center of attention for me. This bug draws my eyes immediately. I am very impressed by the several shades of green on its body. I like how the branch is diagonally placed into the square frame. The balance of the composition is perfect.

Great title you've given your piece AV.

Green is not my favorite color but the way you've done this piece up w/ all those lovely, subtle shades is just gorgeous. Bud and bug well detailed. Exposure is perfect and I really like the tight crop and up close presentation.

Perfectly put together for this contest AV....best of luck to you.

Deborah

Wow, I almost missed the little green bug. This is a great contest entry for the color green. Green backdrop, green plant and bug. It's anazing too, how the leaves stand out against the backdrop. Nice framing and lighting. A wonderful delightful capture!
