This is a super clear and interesting photograph of the frost clinging to the twisted branches. The branches are framed in a pleasing abstract and full of clear details. The faded dark background lets you focus on the subject. Nice work.

I like this one Grace. I have taken back lit frost on various things and this one so well done. The focus is pin point sharp and the details or wonderful. Nice job with placement / entering the scene from the lower left, proceeding diagonally and ending short of the corner. That adds a nice bit of drama. Good work here Grace ~ Steve

I love exquisite yet simple photos such as these. This is the kind of thing most individuals do not even see nor have time to look for it.....the most t yet something that will only last a very short time. I fell in love with your shot here. It has all the bells and whistles making it A NUMBER 1 in any body's book. I understand about the Frost and how its vapor is what makes it become a solid, but I had no idea about the grains and if they grow larger that they are called Hoarfrost. I never even heard the word before. And that is it also known as Radiation Frost. That to me sounds a little scary, if you know what I mean. They do look exactly like little leaves in the trees. I love the angle of your shot and the blurred background and how vivid it looks. SUPERB photo. Thanks so much for sharing.

What a great closeup shot.
You sure accentuated the frost with the black bg.
You focus is spot on to show the crystals of the hoarfrost.
When a whole landscape is covered with hoarfrost it is amazing to see. Shoot quick as the sun does a number on it!

Thank you! It was such a beautiful sight that didn't last long. I was surprised at how quickly it changed once the sunlight filtered in on the plants.
