I find it amazing as well what mother nature can do with her abilities. This photo is wonderfully taken and focued on the whole of the environment. Wonderful how the ice and snow are seen as far back as it does. Wonderful work!!

A lot of ice on the river. The photo is presented well with a story, I gave the 4.5 because of the thingness of the crop, In my opinion a wider angel would have given me a stronger interpretation of the story you are sharing, and thanks for sharing

I have really liked seeing your ice jam photos.
The ice makes it's own art in the water.
Reminds me of how I make my own milkshakes by adding only small amounts of milk and it gets this same texture as your ice.
It's amazing how it can take out whole trees.
You have done a great job with centering your photo and capturing an entire scene.
Another great photo, thanks for sharing. (We had snow flying today)

This shows the power of nature! Very well photographed with good focus, the image is clear to view, I like the way you framed this with the two trees. It's incredible to see how this ice jam so forceful that it uprooted trees in its path as it Moved through the area! Well presented!

My goodness! Just shows how powerful nature can be. Very good capture of your ice jam showing the fallen trees. I like the angle you used for this. Very good lighting and focus. Great composition. Suzanne

Captures the destruction and strength nicely. Something I would have likely not seen or understood so your photo presented an opportunity to broaden myself today. Thank you for sharing!

Mary Eileen,
A beautiful picture showing is stark detail the power of the ice chunks floating in the river tearing down trees in it's path as winter still holds you in it's grip while I look out on trees coming into leaf! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It is easy to see the force of this ice, and how the trees are kneeling under the pressure. It is not often we see photos like this, and you have pictured this nature phenomenon so well.

Your photo is of course also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the trees. I also think both the white balance and exposure is very good.

The cropping is nicely done and the trees on each side work as a nice and natural framing. I think this is a very nice and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

It must still be pretty cold over there wherever you are! Your fine classical composition allows us an enjoyable look at the raw power of winter in your location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

This is an amazing shot. It looks like it could have been dangerous to get this shot. I hope you didn't get too close. You have nicely framed the photo with the fallen trees. The effects that you have used on this photo make it look like a painting. Nice work.
