This is a really good painting. I must point out one thing in your author's notes:
I used a photo, which was published in Unsinkable a Memoir by Debby (its Debbie) Reynolds and Dorian Hannaway, Maxray Productions 2013 as reference.
Also, it's Carrie, not Carry. Please don't take offense. :)

Yes, I remember them well. I love all the old musicals that Debbie was in. You've achieved a wonderful likeness, Cleo and I love the colours you used for this. The delicately blended background works very well. Great composition. Suzanne

I bet it is many people who have totally forgotten Debbie Reynolds or never have heard of her. When I was a very young girl she was my favorite, and when I saw this painting I recognized her straight away. The likeness is actually striking.

I like way mother and daughter are surrounded by delicate pink colors and only heads and arms are standing out. I also think you have got the facial expressions spot on, and your brush work is just lovely.

My only concern is that the baby's head probably is a bit too big compared to the mother's, even if the baby obviously is closer to us. Still I like this digital painting a lot, and I think it is beautiful and really well done Cleo.

Great job in capturing the bond between a mother and daughter. The eyes tel lit all.

I like how you treated the background, it add interest but does not distract from the subjects.

The two pieces of jewelry are a nice touch.

So sad they both died so close together.
