Wow what a lovely final resting place. How old is this cemetery? I know it is not recent because the people today, in America anyway, have greed and would never allow for a cemetery to be built on such prime property . Sad but true.
Your photo is beautiful and I feel the energy. Great focus and colors.
Nicely framed.
Thank you for reminding me people were not always as greedy as they are today. Giving prime space to their lost loved ones is selfless and shows love beyond measure.

What an intriguing photo! I love that it overlooks the sea. I love the darkness of the headstones against the brightness of the grass. I wonder what the shot would look like if the bottom grave wasn't cut off. Not sure if you cropped it or not. Overall captivating photo.

I like your comments with this. Looks as if some of the graves and stones will soon disappear into the sea. I like the angle you used for this, looking down the hill. Very good lighting and focus. Great composition. Suzanne

I love the old vintage story behind all of the tombstones. You have done a wonderful job capturing the land and the water aurrounding it which for me holds more of the story than anything else. Great focus. Wonderful work!!

I love cemeteries. Headstones, markers, crypts. I've been to Jewish cemeteries, slave cemeteries. baby and young children, civil war graves, forgotten and broken, and haunted. All tranquil looking and full of secrets. I, too, wonder which way they went.
Beautiful picture with awesome depth and detail.
love how two thirds of the frame belongs to the headstones and one third to the sea. Great capture.

What a lovely and lonely capture! Really nice contrast of the deep green grass with the weathered tombstones, grayish ocean and sky. I like the angle of this shot as well. Just beautiful.

This is a lovely, yet sad photograph.
I too think things like that when I see cemeteries and You have taken a great photo while incorporating the see in the background.
It is very clear and focused.
Great piece, thanks for sharing.

Good question...looks like a very old cemetery. Headstones are worn, some are crooked, wouldn't want to walk through there at night but I guess if you have to go in the ground, this would be a good place. Thanks for sharing, Susan

I too, also find cemeteries interesting to explore. And your shot makes it look even more enticing, thanks to the angle at which you shot this. It gives the viewer depth of field, interesting motion, serenity and a sense of wonder being by the sea. The amount of sea you chose to include gives the composition just enough interest and contrast to the land and those who dwell forever upon it. It is kind of romantic in a way as well.
