LOL. You are killing me Bud! Just a minute......OK I'm back. Just the mention of a rum and coke gave me a hankering for one ( I wasn't going to have one but Thanks to You I am now sipping one). Capt. Jack Farkle thanks you. This scene was fun to shoot as I began to shoot when the ship was off to the right. As it approached the sun I used burst mode and got 30-40 shots as it passed across the sun and out the other side. This is a nice one yet I could not do any post work for the contest. I do have one with post work and it is pretty cool. I will post it after the contest is over as an edited shot. Not many people have seen this one. Arrr I so appreciate you mate for trimming the sails and still finding time to review and comment and make my night. Oh that is sooo good (the special dark Mexican rum I brought back). Thanks again my Bud. You are the Best ~ Jack Farkle. P.S. I need an Albatross whisperer if you know any.

Ha! People only review for coin...it's why those that promote get all time best every post...if they did not promote..they be out here with us on the sand drinking rum and coke or a smooooth Tequila.
I review work that is not promoted.
You find many diamonds in this coal mine I call Far.
Cheers Bud!

Exactly what I would have done steve, you waited until that boat had the sun behind it to take the shot, looks like a lowish viewpoint to make the most of the forshore as well, well taken photo...Brian

Thanks a lot Brian. I started taking shots when the boat was off to the right and as it approached the sun I used burst mode to capture 30-40 shots as it crossed in front of the sun. There are several really nice ones that will look much better with some after photo work. This one had to be as is from the iPhone. Thanks for the review and comments Brian ~ Steve

That's a very nice looking ship! It is perfect for this scene. I like how you timed it with the boat being lit up by the brightest part of the sunlight. The path of light on the water to the shore is also beautiful.

I will be back for a six! Wow, this has to be painted by someone ASAP. This is extreme beauty. Love the time of day that you captured this shot. Amazing colors, light and water/sky work! Amazing shot.

Very very cool photo. The colors are awesome and the frame seems like something out of a movie or that should have been created in Disneyworld. Very nice
