The scenery and terrain/layout of Alaska, only ever seen by myself in moving or still images sadly, never ceases to amaze me - and especially when you describe the sheer scale and size of these glaciers that make up a large portion of the land mass. This fantastically crisp and clear shot captured from a brilliant vantage point shows the amazing towering and snow covered rocky terrain, that in itself is hard to judge the size of, but then comparing with the forested coastal edge below you realise how amazing this is. The central positioning is excellent and the contrast in colours between the bright snowy whites and the darker shaded land below works fantastically too, with a light mist apparent in the air also. Overall a breathtaking composition and beautiful capture, excellent work :)

This is a fantastic glacier photograph. I love how the sunlight highlights the terrain. The deep blues created in the shadows and the water create a sense of the chill in the air.
