A beautiful picture of this colourful Wood duck drake voicing his opinion as it swim out from the darkness into the light showing off his beautifully coloured& marked plumage. The light dancing off the water's surface & ripples. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

He does look like he swam into the light to accommodate this portrait. It is a beautiful duck and colorful duck. I really like the pools of reflected light and the ripples in the water.

Where can we buy a pair for pet & breeding? For sure we don't have it here in the Philippines!
Obscured illumination pops him out nicely. I believe males are more colorful than females.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
