Hi and thanks for sharing your beautiful paisley garden.. such a delightful scene that truly emanates a warm and inviting emotion.. I believe the alley cats have found that same feeling and made it their home.. Love the pastel shades used throughout.. They are soft and welcoming to the mind's eye and blend together to create a scene of delight.. Love the sunshine face that smiles as I stare at her... those rosy pink cheeks grab my attention as she throws her light rays into your beautiful garden. The leaves that surround her round and happy face compliment the garden nicely.. and the orange hue is a warm touch.. Love the yellowing hue in the background surrounding the sunny face... I imagine the warm sun rays being cast out into the garden below.. The flower stems are whimsical with their striped array of colour and the buds popping up above the cats' reach add character and interest to the scene.. their shape offers good contrast to the cats and their own specific features.. Love the varied decoration on each bud.. the colours, the differing brush strokes and pattern formations offer a bright and cheery feeling to the mind's eye. Each of the pussy cats is unique and rather gorgeous. all with their own delightful expressions upon their faces.. The grey cat in the foreground with his stunning blue eyes and pink markings is the pretty one.. and his tail tones match nicely with his face markings.. what a heart stealer he is.. The blue green cat standing upright in the centre has the most adorable whiskers.. and looks proud to show them off as he parades around your paisley garden. the hellow kitty with his wiggly whiskers and his tongue poking out, looks as though he just had a fright... ever so cute.. maybe that big pink and yellow flower bud just poked him in the eye.. .. The background blends perfectly with the paisley flowers.. and compliments the scene well. Such an appealing feel good painting that is both harmonious and pleasing to the eye.. thanks for sharing.. it has been a real joy to review.. all the very best in the contest.. cheers mel

Thank you so very much. I am having fun with this series. I will not be using this type of board for pastels again as it is too difficult to get the fine details I want.
