Abstract Fire

Impression of a blazing fire

Great abstract that is completely reminiscent of fire. The blazing oranges and yellows have good flaming motion to them and the darkness provides a charred effect while the white adds a sense of heat. Very nice work.

I love this image of fire in the abstract because it is a wonderful blend of color that looks like the flames in a fire. The gray tones even remind me of smoke and the red the fiery heat. I could see this on display in a gallery.
It's a wonderful work that really provokes more imagination.

That looks like it was fun to do! I appreciate that there is some intermingling of the colors without it being completely marbled. Each color can be seen as its own entity from afar and part of a grouping up close.

This is amazing. It truly appears to be flames. I can almost feel the heat. your description of the process made it seem simple but I am sure it was not. An impressive piece of art.

Thanks so much, Neil, for your lovely review. It's a fun technique - the results are somewhat unpredictable. Have you tried this method? I'm experimenting at the moment so am only using the cheapest paints. Suzanne

Great job of capturing the feel of fire. I can almost imagine sitting around a campfire. Great color pallet. I like the one rough spot you incorporated in this piece. Nice job.

Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Not the usual red orange flames!
Dynamic strokes that one can feel the rising low heat--blue being the hottest!

Filled up framing enhanced the overall impact!

Thanks for sharing...
