just think of what stories that old building could tell, like how it is off centered to allow the big pine in, like the green grass, very good textures and detail and depth you have captured here, a pleasure to look at. thank you for sharing. dale

What an interesting shot. I love the great detail in the building. I also really like the limited color palette with just a little bright green. The lighting is great. I somewhat wish I could see the top of the fir tree to the left, but I understand that's not the focus. Great background history on the location. Thank you for sharing!

Nice shot of a ramshackle old cabin in the woods. Even in this state it looks like someone is still living there. The gray building is set off well against the green woods. Nice details in the shot. Well seen.

in Israel one can find ruins from 2000 years ago, but not from 200, funny, isn't it
good focus, lighting and composition

Thank you so very much! Yes, there is a huge difference between the architecture here and from Israel !

is someone still living in it, is it built next to a rise in ground, or are those trees. I love watching cowboy films for the scenery after nearly a whole life time in Industrial cities and towns.

Thank you very much, yes, I believe someone still lives here, it looks like it was built above ground on wood foundation.

a good close up pat of this old wooden house apparently in an isolated area; still in good cndition;
if the house could speak and tell who lived there....

A very nice shot. I like the way the old building is isolated in the wilderness. Hard to believe that there is anything around. Very sharp detail and fine colors.

Oh you found my summer home. You'll have to come visit more often. I love this little fixer upper with enough tin on the roof to make 300 bird houses. A little structure reinforcement and I could set up the grill and pour the bloody mary's. It is the perfect character house with secrets in the perfect setting. beautiful focus and lighting. Well framed.

I like it too. Apparently a successful fur trader by the size of the house. Too bad it has been neglected. It now looks like a strong wind would blow it down.
