The flower is just gorgeous. The photo does it justice. The background is very natural adding to the beauty of the daffodil.

I like how the soft light illuminates the flower and emphasizes some of the defined details. The green leaves in the background emphasize the whole blossom with a background of well mixed light and shadow. I find the diagonal arrangement eye-pleasing and very intriguing.

Oh how pretty this is. I have never seen a double blossom. I love the angle in which you framed this shot. The tips of the leaves with their yellow highlights mimic the yellow in the flower.

I just love the double daffodils in your garden too!
I have never seen this kind in person and I really like the hint of buttercup yellow in the center.
Fine white balance control, sharp focus with a lovely diagonal placement.

They are lovely aren't they. This is a good example of one to choose - still all perfectly formed. A little more could be cropped from the top of the photo. Good DOF and use of light. Well done. Good luck in the contest.
