This image is full of interesting elements and textures. I think the monochromatic colors with the pop of red is eye catching and attractive. The rocks in the foreground look nice too.

a very good composition nik with the rocks in the fg (probably taken from a pier) up to the village in the bg;
I like the shiny wet sand taken at low tide with the red boat as the only real color in this pic;

Beautiful capture of a boat stranded on the sand. Beautiful framing and lighting. The red boat makes a nice contrast against the sandy backdrop. Nice texture with the rocks at the bottom screen. Nice shot, Nik!

Great shot of the stranded boat on the wet sandbank. I like the angle you used for this with the rocks in the foreground creating depth to the view. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Very good composition. Suzanne

Very nice photo! I like the pop of red against the rocky shore line and sea bed. .
Nicely framed and focused.
I wonder if the owner knows the plight of his boat.
The detail in the rocks shows very well. Nicely accomplished.

This is an amazing capture. It is beautiful to view as a 'landscape' and it is beautiful to view in detail. Wow! It this what happens when the tides go out?

Your exposure is perfect...catching both the light and shadows. The reflections on the wet seabed are controlled and even show the textures. The rocks in the lower front frame are perfectly captured in detail and colors. The red boat is almost as if a toy when viewing only the lower part of your frame. Then you add the distant horizon and the overall impact is huge. A complete pleasure to view. Thank you for sharing! And congratulations on this capture!!

This is indeed an intriguing view. It looks almost like a black and white with selective colors, but I see those are the natural colors on a cloudy day. The vivid colored boat looks indeed beautiful in the surrounding's grays of sea shore and ocean. The photo is well focused and has a beautiful depth. I like the crisp captured detail of the rocky coast and the boat. The boat of course draws our eyes immediately, The soft hazy landscape descending into the fog far away are intriguing. The photo is well balanced and nicely framed.

I really like the soft, silky look of the water and the subdued colors.

Nice framing of the boat and the color of the boat stands out nicely!

The rocks in the foreground add some great texture.

Nice depth of field also!
