What's great angle for this photograph. I like the stern glare he is giving you. The red eyes and the feather details are very attractive.

To start with, the focus is perfect as is the lighting. The bird is perfectly centered side to side and top to bottom making it look much larger than it actually is. I can see the eyes clear enough that I am attempting yo figure out if it is an adult of an juvenile.

Thank you for your nice comments! I think it's an adult or on the cusp of being an adult :)

Very nice shot of this Cooper's Hawk. It shows the distinctive lined breast and the wide striped tail feathers. Nice sharp focus with great colors. The blue sky background is wonderful and the one foot with those talons really adds drama. Good work Grace ~ Steve

A first class shot of this beautiful raptor. His penetrating stare is great and I like the detail in his plumage. A nicely composed image with great color.

You had a great subject here for photography! Unfortunately you did not make the best use of this because the image is not sharp!! Exposure and sharpnes are good though. Nice try though!

Thank you Nik. I will have to take a look at it again. I thought it was sharp, but my eyes are getting old, lol!
