Ooh, what could be better - the anticipation what is to come from the emerging peonies or that gorgeous birch tree at the edge of the one flower bed. Both bring warm memories of my childhood in Massachusetts. Excellent shot, Deb, with perfect lighting and a composition with exquisite and artistic spatial balance. Would love to see the same shot at the pre-bloom stage and then full bloom stage. Ed.

Thank you so much Fred. Think I may have mentioned to you last week that I wished I could just have written off the month of April....lol At any rate, it is gone thankfully and on to Spring at my place. Do really appreciate your lovely review here and especially the welcome back. Thank you again.

Oh what a difference a warm spell makes. I have never seen this scene before. I love the nice rich and saturated colors BB. A great POV which leads the eye over the hill. Is this a shot going Toward your house or going Away from it? I always get confused when I am sneaking around in the dark ; ) Glad to see you back and posting BB. Really looking forward to seeing the flowers grow and bloom ~ BB

LOL You are the best dear BB. This is what I see when I stand on my front steps so the house is behind you as you look out on this scene. Now listen- when you are creeping around in the dark be sure to not trip over any of my rock edgings...lol I hear noise at night and I'm liable to let Comanche out to go GET whatever is out there. Thank you BB for the really nice review. You know I appreciate it.

OMG! I just got through replying to your review of the boat and said almost the Same thing! That is spooky. Whatever you do call out "Is that you BB"? If no reply THEN send Comanche out, or at least give me a head start down the road. I'm pretty fast when running for my life! Have a great Sunday BB ~ BB

There's a super 'Good Show' of a picture,Deb! : D
It makes me think of the 'grave' of the Mastodon that they're unearthingp a ways south of here! ( More about that later! )
Right after Walpurgis Night it turned immediately into High Summer over here ( 'Sumer Is Icumin In' as the Pagans sing! ) and I'm glad you're back,my friend! : D

They located one ( a very nicely preserved one too! Or so I'm told! ) down near the Catskills,Deb! Those things flourished here in the northeast 'back in the day;!
    I've missed ya and I'm glad you're back,my friend! : D

It's nice to see all your snow is gone! What a relief! This is a beautiful view and I can't wait to see it in bloom. It's especially nice to see you post,
I've been wondering how you've been. Peonies grow so fast, they'll be flowering before you know it! Beautiful sign of what is to come!

Wow! What amazing scene to view and even more so after reading your notes. You make gardening look easy...except to a fellow gardener. My goodness you do work hard to keep your gardens beautiful don't you. No wonder they reward you so very much with their beauty in your short growing season!

This is beautiful. The high def colors are almost showing the battle between the winter trees and skies and your revealed and ready to pop gardens and flowers! They are damn tired of being covered with what comes out of those winter skies aren't they! :D Wishing your nothing but blue skies ahead ! Can't wait to see everything!

Thank you dear friend for this review and for appreciating the work that goes into having beautiful gardens. Sometimes when I look at all those rocks I have hauled from every corner of my property I think I must have been nuts...lol But I love the look and I think you're right. The gardens are as happy as I am to have them finally exposed to fresh air and blue skies again. Now the fun part comes...lol Thank you again Becky and I am so happy to be caught up w/ my thank yous- except for my newest post!

Aww you are a peach Dear Natalia. Yes, the snow is gone and I am absolutely delighted to see the grass just beginning to turn green. Seemed like one helluva a long winter this year. Thank you so much for checking out my new piece and especially for being the first reviewer and being so generous w/ it. I do really appreciate this Natalia.
