I have a friend who likes to Surf. I personally have never understood the thrill. Plus, I don't have the balance would fall on my butt. I don't even water board. But, this is a very nice image of a rolling wave. It does look like the pike that they surf in Hawaii. Well done. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

It's a very cool piece and an excellent entry for the contest .
I don't surf either but I love the beach and especially surf fishing . A couple of cold ones and a couple of buddies after work , good times . The barrel also called the tube , I believe .

I have always been fascinated with pastels and how the look so smooth and life like when used on art such as this. I love the wave and how you have captured the tunnel almost perfect as it draws you in! Wonderful work!!

Great job incorporating in the different colors of blue in the water.
I like the added foaminess of the water.
Nice how the light shows though the water.
My mom says it makes her think of the old Hawaii 5-O TV show.
