a great day and almost a very great capture: focus just a tad too soft but still more than acceptable;
it is a swallowtail butterfly but didn't find the precise species;

Gorgeous shot of this butterfly on his very bright and cheery flower! Nice clarity in the butterfly and front flower. Love the blurred background giving the picture good depth. The subject is well-placed in the picture and the shot is very well lit! Beautiful!
