I don't think this is a strong as your others. There is minimal sense of movement or texture in this one. The line of white spots don't feel right to my eye, they almost look like a mistake where you dribbles paint. I am sorry to be so hard on this one, but the others have been so good. The colors are nice and some of the blending works well. A bit of a view from space.

Comment from Monica Morrell
You inspire me. You are always reaching for more and that is great! I really like this art and I especially like the upper right corner. It looks like marble. Remember playing with marbles as children. They always had such lovely magical colors. I really like this technique. Well done!

Thanks so much, Monica, for your lovely review. Yes, I remember playing with marbles! I'm still experimenting but having fun doing so. Suzanne

Suzanne,
A beauiful image of the sea swirling around a boat or rocks as we look down on it the white bubbles like the trail left behind a diving Seal. The surface appears to be moving as Iook at it. Created with your artist's eye for composition, knowledge of colours & what effects mixing them can obtain.

Love the round and white dots path
did you notice that there is a shouting face on the wave on the right top?
Thanks for sharing

I like snorkeling and playing in the water. I actually have an underwater camera. I see colors like this. You are so true to reality. Nicely shaded and very well done.

Thanks so much, Paul, for your lovely review. I've lived by the sea for most of my life and am always fascinated by the range of colours you can see there. Suzanne

Nice abstract painting created with an experimental technique. The more you look at it, the more you see. I feel like I am looking at a jellyfish of sorts but I also see a killer whale pursuing some tasty fish and creating quite a bit stir and froth.
Quite amazing this.
Keep experimenting with this!

Thanks so much for your very nice review. I'm glad you can see different creatures in this - it's purely by chance which makes this technique so much fun to do! Still experimenting ..... Suzanne

I have seem Abstract Sea Colors 1, but #2 looks very different, even as I believe to see almost the same shades of color. The limitation of colors and how the shades of blue mix with each other and the white is interesting. I am not sure if it is just me, but I see several creatures brought in by the waves. It must be the white and the PVA glue which created the curved line of dots below. To me this looks like a snake, partly emerged from the water. Above it, I see a bird trying to grab a fish. Beside the bird is the head of a big fish or maybe a small saltwater crocodile. Left above the tail of the snake, it looks as if a small sea gull is flying there. Did you put those abstract creatures there our did they just emerged by themselves?

Thanks so much, Cleo, for your really lovely review. I'm very pleased you can see so many creatures in this sea - no, I didn't put them there, they just emerged! That's the beauty of this technique. I'm still experimenting which is fun. Suzanne

I absolutely love the colors and tones and variations of tones here! It's like looking into the water and studying the patterns created by the light above.i like that swirl of white it shows motion as it catches the light ! This is beautiful to view!

Thank you so much, Pat, for your really lovely review. I'm still experimenting with how much glue, water and paint to mix together and having fun doing this. My daughter, who lives in Australia and also paints, is also having a go. Suzanne
