I am astounded by how much of this cutie's face and expression you rendered. I feel as if I could reach and touch those soft feathers. The signature eye reflection tells me (and I see) favorable focus on "the star of the show; perched favorably in a scenic atmosphere... for the bird, that is... Colors look very natural, and textures are excellent.

I always enjoy your robins! They are so much prettier than the robins here in the USA. This one is perched at such an appealing angle, as though she is waiting for something. Thanks for sharing.

Susan, I really like the way you captured the robin perched at an angle. The light reflecting from his rusty throat feathers is so appealing. He looks ready to fly on a moments notice.

pity the photo is so dark, the robin almost gets lost on it
also, the fact that the background is very busy distracts
thanks for sharing

Christmas card special. Robin redbreast and mistletoe together in the perfect traditional format. I always wondered, how Balder swallowed the mistletoe and is it poisonous or did the barbs kill him. We shall never know. I had a mistletoe in one of my gardens but never thought to try to make its leaves into a drink!

Great shot! Your focus is crisp and you capture so much detail in the robin. You also capture personality. There is a look of anticipation. "Can I go NOW?"
