This is gorgeous! The colors are smooth and rich and the rocks make a grand and interesting entrance. Minnesotans like to stack rocks too :) You see stacks like these all along the North Shore.

Very artistic. I just love the way you have composed this photo.

The stones are beautifully silhouetted against the gorgeous sunset.

I love how the sun's reflection leads right to the center of the piles of stone.

Thanks for sharing.

I love the sunset and silhouette view of the stones. I find it incredible that the ones on the left haven't toppled. Both you and those who created these works are very talented.

Proverbs 11:1~
A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, But a just weight is His delight.

I think everything thing in life is about Balance and being still.
Far too many stay so busy they miss the tiny miracles, the gifts of a simple sunset, a bird in flight, a smile amoung strangers.
They focus on the stupid jealousies and lies....gossip.
I rather be like the stones..steadfast...strong... Balanced.
A sharply focused well timed "Be still and know Sunset capture".
Fine work Captain BF:)

Thanks Bud. You are so right about missing that IS. We are seldom in the Moment or in the Present. As someone said 'My favorite place is somewhere else'. Stones, unlike humans, simply ARE. Thanks for the review bud. I have been warned that this may be disqualified as it does not meet the criteria of the contest. I reworded the narrative as I could. If it makes it good. if it does not then that also is good. Just like the stones: no judgement, no ego, no problem. Simply 'Being'. Have a great week Bud ~ Farkle the Fearless

What a great composition! I like how the stones frame the setting sun; such a great contrast of colours; it is a peaceful and a very "zen" picture to look at. Love it!
Good luck in the competition.

Yes, they do look like two beings enjoying the sunset. An eye catching image, sharply captured and very nicely composed. This pair would be holding hands if they had any. A lovely picture, set my imagination going. Nice work.

Crazy piece of art. Well taken to show the red sky and sun while also catching the silhouettes of the rock piles. The sun reflection between the two piles sets everything off well. Good color and good details. Interesting to look at and study. Well seen.
