What a wonderful scene and a great work of art. You are very talented and it shows that you have a natural gift that not all of us have. I hope you will keep developing your talent and rise to the potential to which your gift was given. Well done Linda ~ Steve

I love this innocence in this artwork. I just had a new grandson born last week. He will be raised in a Christian home. The rest is up to the Spirit. Nice detail. I love everything about this. Good luck and well done

This is wonderful and cute. Your great drawing the little one. I like the details you put in the hands and shading is good. Like the story about this drawing.

Faith has moved mountains both figuratively and factually.

Without faith there can be no hope. Without hope there can be no joy. Without joy there is only despair. Despair produces the fruit of hate.

I see a pencil drawing crafted from skill, memory and deep abiding faith. A faith born of the trials and tribulations of life.

The lines of the child are dark and distinct so as to emphasize the artist love and hope for this child.

The hands surrounding this child are strong and life worn, yet welcoming with an offer of security within.

This is a fine piece that speaks well to me ... B-)) Bob

This drawing is very very beautiful!! The face of your grandson shows tenderness, love, and affection! Your hands and especially your grandsons hand show a lot of affection! The only thing that would of love to see is the background more dark. I think that would of made the picture itself stand out more but other than that, this picture is breath taking! You have a lot of talent! Very beautiful!!

Hi Linda thank you for sharing this most divine artwork and your lovely heartwarming story to compliment your design.. Such a beautiful scene that truly warms my heart and delights my eyes. Your art work shows excellent detail and the lovely rounded features in your grandson's body, bring out that childlike innocence that we see in our young ones. His little face tucked sweetly into the cup formed by your two hands is just precious.. His facial features are nicely defined and his hair borders his endearing face nicely. Love the strokes used to render his hair.. shows great textural value and a youthful expression.. His little arms are beautifully drawn. the curved lines allow my mind's eye to see his youthful appearance, and imagine his delicate soft skin. his clasped hands neatly tucked on top of yours are well placed and offer that wonderful contrast in size and shape .. they put the scene into perspective , relating to his tiny frame. Your hands as in your story, are telling their own life story.. they are well defined and the shading used creates good skin tone.. The background of darker hue is a nice choice and makes your focal point really pop. There is a truly warm and loving emotion emanating from within the scene.. and makes the heart smile with joy. Thank you for sharing this delightful artwork which I hope you have framed for all times sake.. it is superb.. and has been an absolute treat to review. very best wishes in the contest. cheers mel
