These can't be Canadian Geese Juveniles Fred. All are born with black bills and the at this age have white markings on sides of face.
I have never seen a duck shaped bill on a goose nor the bill being orange.
These look like Mallard juveniles.
Great focus, fine eye clarity and nice capture of them all huddled close.

Well, together they are sitting!:) One for all and all for one!:) Nice shot of the birds. . You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Fred,
A beautiful picture of these young fledged Mallards. Their necks are too short to be geese & their plumage is that of the Mallard... If I'm wrong I stand corrected. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

They are so cute all huddled together in a tight ball. It makes me think that it must have been a cool day and that they are trying to stay warm. They have lost their down and their lovely feathers are so varied. I especially like the polka dot look of the tail feathers on the duck in the foreground.

Cyber six! These are absolutely adorable ! One of my most favorite symbols of spring! Very well photographed with spot on focus, the image is clear all the way through, well controlled lighting, colors and tones are natural! They are beautiful ! They stand out perfectly from the green grass! Thank you for sharing these!

This is so adorable and such
a great photograph of these babies. I really wish I had a six for this one. The detail is so clear and focus is so crisp. I just love the coloring in their feathers, it looks like it's almost fully developed with just a few of the fuzzies left. They appear so soft and
and the grass is such a beautiful shade of green.
A cuteness that is over the top and such a pleasure to see. Thanks for getting this
beautiful capture of these babies, their such a pleasure to see.
