GRACE, this a a fantastic shot of Red Winged Blackbird! I like blurred background. It makes the subject impornant. I also like the full face of blackbird. Sharp focus, perfect composition. I would love to give the highest six for all of your posted photos. They are more than photos because I can see spirit of the birds and characters! Simply beautiful!!!

I like the nice sharp focus on the eyes....superb eye clarity . Your colors and details incredible. Your choice of aperture blurring your background with a lovely field of bokeh. Well handled exposure , the colors and tones are natural, I love that pop of red! Well composed with the bird on the cattail. Background brings him forward without distraction! Very nice work!

It's a beautiful capture ! Well photographed with good focus, the image is clear to view, nice detail throughout with good eye contact complete with catchlights in both eyes! Well handled exposure , the colors and tones are natural, I love that pop of red! Well composed with the bird on the cattail. Background brings him forward without distraction! Very nice work!

Great shot of a blackbird guarding its territory. I love the red and yellow wing epaulets. It really pops and provides a great focus point.
The depth of field is quite well placed and it is a tidy image.
