Very nicely painted ladybug on flower painting. It does have an impressionistic feel. The purple flower looks good against the green and white background. I like how the lady bug has it's wings open like it is about to take off. Great entry for the contest. Good luck to you.

you must know the verse- ladybird, ladybird, fly away home. Your house is on fire, your children all gone. Very meaningful to me, except that Human Research St barths paid Slovakia 2 mill and have used their powers to delete and destroy what was left of my family there for which slovakians may come to live in UK. Back to painting, lovely colours and clever the way you opened the wings, about to fly!

This is awesome! Love the long slender shaped petals , nice purple tones highlighted with the various lighter tones including white , the supporting greenery is well placed behind the flower, nice stamens with the yellow pollen. This is a very well detailed ladybug , I like the red with black spots and the position with her body exposed, she faces us from her position on the flower.very well created and presented, this was a pleasure to view, I love ladybugs! Best to you in the contest!
