Thank you so much! They stay here in Alaska for the summer, but not in Anchorage, they go to fresh water and I have seen them in salt water too.

This is a very well shot capture of this bird.
Good central framing using the mid line as a divider for the full reflection.
Colors are strong and in high contrast.
The details of the head are sharp and clear. the eye is well seen as is the catch light.
Feather detail of wings and breast is fine. Because of the absolute black of the head, neck and back feather detail is lost.

Very well taken shot. The duck is very sharp and the details in it are very strong. The reflection is also well captured. The black and white markings are very interesting to look at. I think I would have put a little more space around him. especially on the left side. Well done.
