The play between the light and shadows across this flower is very nice. The white looks very nice. I do see a face, but it reminds me more of a Greek god of wind.

Great close up of this beautiful white flower - amazing what you can see when you really look at an image. I like how the sun is shining on one half of the flower with the rest in shade. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Really nice shot of this beautiful bloom! The lighting really enhances all of its gorgeous folds and details. The composition is really nice as well. I find the bottom bloom and leaves slightly distracting from the gorgeous flower. Overall beautiful shot though!

love the fact that the flower is only half light, but the problem in here is that the focus is very soft and this takes from the initial impact
also, the background is too busy

Flowers are really not my thing and I'm afraid I can't identify this one, but it sure looks great in this shot. I like the exposure for the white petals and the way the majority of the flower is in the shade. Best of luck in the contest.

Nature is full of all sorts of strange things. But this photo is not. It is a very pleasing white flower. It is not washed out and the focus is clear. The photographer knew just how to deal with the issues cause by taking a photo of anything solid white. Well done.
