A very pretty entry into the competition posted here! Your central composition offers us an enjoyable look at your lovely bloom. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Rhododendron make interesting subjects.

This take is, well captured with good placement of subject in frame.

The composition is well focused, the image is clear, well exposed with vivid colors.

What really impresses me is the complete sharply detailed stamens and pistols of ALL the blossoms - Kudos for some very fine camera work ... B-)) Bob

I want to like this photo because there's no such thing as an unappealing rhododendron bush, and your flowers and leaves are a beautiful color and the focus is perfect. It's the background that doesn't work here, primarily because of the black/grey tones that detract me. The flowers almost seem to have external lighting. Instead of the background receding, it is oddly accentuated. Lovely flowers, though.

This is a vibrant fuschia flower. The gray background really helps it pop. I like the details in the rigid dark green leaves in the foreground. I like the lacy feel the curling stamens give the cluster of blossoms.

In this image, the subject is overpowered by the background which also does not support the subject. The subject should occupy much more of the available space and have lighting that provides modeling by not being head on.

Get closer, make the green leaves visible to provide color contrast and use lighting that is from the side to provide shadows and enhance the three dimensional aspect of the subject.

A beautiful picture of this pink mauve Rhodendron blooms glowing out from the darkness of the background. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

What a gorgeous capture! Great lighting and clarity on your main subject - every detail of this beautiful group of blooms is visible. I like the way you've cropped this work, showing the shadows of the foliage in the background and the beautiful detailing of the leaves in the foreground. Very nicely balanced. A great entry for the contest! Wishing you the best!
