This is such a sweet picture! I can't help it but to smile when I see it! The picture was taken right on point when the duck was flapping its wing! It gives it emotion and almost like a story to it! Very edgy!! The details are also superb!! I love it!

Excellent close up of this lovely little lady Mallard - she certainly does have a sweet expression - almost looks as if she's smiling at being free once more. A beautiful picture of this little Mallard posing on the bank wings pitas if she is cheering on her release back into the wild again & showing off her coloured leg rings. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

She is flexing her wings to ensure that she is really free and if a duck could grin she is. I love the speckled feathers on her breast. The greyness of the water is a perfect backdrop to show off her form.
