This is such a sweet picture! I can't help it but to smile when I see it! The picture was taken right on point when the duck was flapping its wing! It gives it emotion and almost like a story to it! Very edgy!! The details are also superb!! I love it!

Excellent close up of this lovely little lady Mallard - she certainly does have a sweet expression - almost looks as if she's smiling at being free once more. I love the pose you caught, Pat, with her wings looking like a cape. Very good lighting and focus showing a lovely clear image. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Ha ha ha. You have definitely caught a moment here. It looks like the duck is directing with it's outstretched wings and feathers. Framing looks good, as does the detail of the shot. Thanks for sharing :-)

Is she trying some new dance step?:) This is a nice shot of the bird!. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

she's so cute. She looks like she is dancing. Wing spread , a little jiggle, a smile on her beak, her pretty spotted "dress". You go, girl. Dance in the fantastic focus and awesome details. The lighting is on you. Cool !

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this little Mallard posing on the bank wings pitas if she is cheering on her release back into the wild again & showing off her coloured leg rings. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

She is flexing her wings to ensure that she is really free and if a duck could grin she is. I love the speckled feathers on her breast. The greyness of the water is a perfect backdrop to show off her form.

And sexy wings!
Voluptuous figure, too!
An amusing, well timed still motion shot!
Nice inclusion of the verdant patch of grass...
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic color overtone.
Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures. Thanks for sharing...
