Very nice shot of that duck. They are very cool. My aunt used to raise ducks. Not too sure what kind they were but it was fun helping her with them. I like the green back ground. The feathers look so soft and are very clear. What a nice shot. Thank you for sharing!! :D

A wonderful profile portrait of this Mallard Duck posing for your her bright eye with your reflection seen in it her beautiful mottled plumage doing what it's supposed to camouflaging her with her background so she can nest safely, yet with your sharp focus she shads out clearly for us. A wonderful profile portrait of this Mallard Duck posing for your her bright eye with your reflection seen in it her beautiful mottled plumage doing what it's supposed to camouflaging her with her background so she can nest safely, yet with your sharp focus she shads out clearly for us. Such a pretty duck. The males have the colours but they are quite violent to the beautiful females. I've seen the male mallards in action and never knew they gang banged the females. The females are very pretty even though they don't have all the pretty greens. Lately, I find the females more appealing. She's a beauty and she looks happy posing for you. Love the framing, the colours, your focus, the clarity and love the subject.
