Her bill looks like she is smiling as do her eyes. She looks quite pleased to have her photograph taken. You have really captured the details of her bill and fine head feathers quite well.

I've always loved Ducks - my mother's maiden name was Duck so I think that's why! This is a lovely profile view of this pretty lady Duck, Pat. I like that you've only shown her head. She almost looks as if she's smiling. Very good lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

have a closeup, a real closeup. The ducks head is in good focus, the one unfortunate thing is that the background is so close to the color of the duck. But such things can not be helped. It is an exceptional portrait of a female duck.
