Love the light and contrast of this photo. I think capturing it at low light was a good idea. There is something quite exquisite about this photo making it different to most photos of flowers. Well done.

Cyber six Deborah! Nice to see you post again! This has got to be the prettiest day lily photo I've seen with a gorgeous view of its interior. I just love how you can make the insides sparkle with your lenses! The shades of color I never knew where there thanks to you I am now noticing! Really a beautiful outline seen in the petals and excellent capture of each stamens shadow. Bright and beautiful and a real eyecatching piece. I especially love the center pistol with a tinge of purple flare!

Aren't the shadows the best Marsha?? I'm glad you noticed them as I was particularly trying to capture them this evening.....and that gorgeous bit of green at the center as well. Not something you see unless you go in for a really up close and tight shot. I do appreciate the marvelous review you've given my new piece....and the cyber six. Thank you so much FP.

Nope haven't found any place close to go and our van 2003 , has 270,000 miles died,not sure if we want to put more into it, that is how I got my scooter to places to far , but have been doing ok, had some test done, all came back no cancer, how have you been haven't seen any posts for a while,
