Alaskapat: This intriguing photo looks more like a painting. I love it! I hope you can find a buyer for it because it would make a birthday card for a guy. "You're not getting older. You're loaded up for another great year!" The colors and textures are so lifelike and pleasing. Check out:

An interesting capture. Out co-artist Sean would be mighty pleased to see this! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

It does appear as though the logs were added after the vehicle was abandoned. Since all the glass is broken out and the underbrush seems to have taken over it seems as though someone decided to make it into a work of art.

Maybe the owner piled the logs to be picked up sooner or later...
Great story telling factor.
Pin sharp focusing.
Fine features & varied textures.
Monochromatic foreground...
Verdant backdrop.
Busy but united.
Dynamic diagonal framing.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Ha! First thing I noticed was the logs in the back! I really love the rusty color of the truck which matches the same tone as the overgrown landscape. Great find and capture with sharp focus and nice story telling abilities.
Fantastic shot Pat! ;)

The colors in this photograph are so striking that they almost don't look real to me. The clarity is outstanding and all of the intricate detail in superb. I'm amazed at how much this reminds me of a painting and although the rust and age of this truck are very clear, I'm surprised at how much I like the shot. Such a well taken and presented shot taken at a perfect angle for an excellent view. Really a pleasure to see.

Pat,
An interesting picture of this slowly rusting truck built during the 1950s judging by it's style, in the countryside off the road with logs piled up behind the cab. It's rusty colours blending with the russet colours of Autumn around it. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Cool,Pat!
What strikes ME as being odd looking about it is that it looks as though it was built from parts of vehicles manufactured by different automotive companies over a varied time span! : )
( You see that a lot with old trucks though! Even down here in 'the Lower Forty Eight'. People would get desperate for 'utility' vehicles in the old days, especially during WWII when no new cars or trucks were being produced for the civilian market in either the U.S. & its territories, or in Canada, so they'd 'scratch build' 'em themselves! )
Anyway-you must've known that I'd like this picture a lot,my friend,and I DO! : D
'GOOD SHOW'!
