It looks like the logs are very old as well and either the truck stalled out and they left it or it was stolen from someone and parked there . No matter how it got there it is odd that someone would leave a truck , with logs, to rust. Good find for you though.
I love how all the weeds have grown around it but it doesn't look like it has been there too many years per the vegetation.Looks like the 1930"s . Were the tires flat? and what were you doing up in the woods? It is a mystery and a good story indeed to be written.

Wow Linda! Thank you so very very much! I don?t think the tires were flat, this was on the road to Kenai Lake, I made my husband stop so I could go check it out, I still wonder who put the logs in and why, it was a vacant lot and the truck obviously was not running recently so it was curious, if they were just dumping the logs , they could have dumped them on the ground.

I love the look of derelict cars and trucks. This one looks so cool blending in with the dry and dead foliage. The lighting shows of the aged metal in highlights that are very pleasing.

Thank you so very much! I still wonder why the logs were in the back of this truck, they are heavy and if they were just dumping the logs they could have put them on the ground, it was a vacant lot.
