A gorgeous nature scene of the Apple Orchard....you can see all the beauty that Spring in your area brings. You have achieved a good perspective and depth of field. Perfectly cropped and well composed shot. Very well photographed with good details and clarity in your damage. I like your black border puts attention on your subject. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

No one knows what Mother Nature has in store for us and the posterity.Must be pretty upset the way we are traumatizing her creations meant to help us! This is a nice shot!The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A cool verdant place to spend an early morning walk...
A dogs' playground...

Forested area but looks like a safe place to stroll.
Verdant overtone!
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Mmmmm...applewood smoked bacon coming up!i love the branches on this tree. They look rugged in contrast to the delicate apple blossoms. The evergreens surrounding it create a nice contrast to the huge canopy on the apple tree. I like the way the light highlights the lushness of the grass.

    LOL you're right though Linda. When I burn apple tree wood in the wood stove it gives off the most amazing fragrance. Thank you so much for checking this one out. Do appreciate the wonderful review.

I'll trade you. I'll take the chills and you can have the moles in my yard...lol.

I love the image. it is so peaceful. I do hope you get a bunch of apples. I love fresh apples. Yes, I'm rambling. It is late on Tuesday and I am just plane wore out. Deb just left to see her mom, so I'm alone and just playing. TMI. Ok. I'm done. Hope you had a wonderful day. I do really like how "happy" this image is.

    LOL still having issues w/ your moles then Paul? Damn little buggers! I'm glad you found my image here peaceful....it's exactly how I feel whenever I'm in the orchard. Honestly one of my very favorite places in the world.....and soooo pretty too. OK, now I'M the one rambling. Hope Deb isn't leaving you alone w/ the moles for too long. Thank you for visiting my piece here my friend.

the comments are more interesting than the shot;
when I was youner, I lived in countries where the temperature dropped during winter to -10 or -15° Celsius every year and for long periods and apple trees had no problem with producing a lot of excellent fruits;
your problem comes from the climate warming:
the trees, also true for peach or abricot flower much too early when freezing temperatures occasionaly occur;

    LOL...well that's fairly blunt Fred. I rather liked the image actually. Anyway- these Apple Trees at my place are REALLY REALLY old (over 75 years) ....much different than the 'newer' models lol I have seen this happen several times over the 20 years I've lived here. They will still produce some apples even when the buds get frosted but produce way less than they do if they don't get hit w/ frost. Do appreciate your thoughtful comments and btw I completely agree w/ global warming.....it's just not what caused the issue w/ these particular Apple Trees.

Strong and lovely this tree stands by itself a monument to the power of nature. The photo itself is alluring and eye catching because of the odd shape of the tree. It stands out so well against the rest of the dark green trees that surround it. Love the photo. Thank you for sharing.

    These trees are really old Nancy and so full of character. I wouldn't trade the few old ones I have for 100 new ones so do really appreciate your appreciation of this guy. Thank you so much for the really lovely review you've given it.

    Less dark gg ???? sigh..... I think that is debatable but I will not argue w/ you again. I understand you don't read the notes but I show exactly what I see. Regardless, thank you for having a look at my new piece here.

This is a nice shot of the apple blossoms. The tree is interesting and looks as if it has endured many harsh winters. It has so much character! The broken limb on the ground adds to the aged character of the tree.

    This little orchard is REALLY old Bill....over 75 years from what I have figured out studying the old Town records so you are exactly right. These trees are old and gnarly and full of character. I just love them! So pleased you had a look at this one and thank you for the wonderful review you've given it.
