Love it. It is cold. Look it the snow and the ice. It's not melting so it has to be cold. Love the lighting and depth you have captured. I love the black and white rendition. This is spectacular. Truly a cold cold day. Winner winner winner.

Initial impression: that look oks pretty cold! When the ice formations turn white with frost, it's cold! This is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear to view ,well converted to the Black and white , good tonal variations.well composed allowing the viewer an close look at the ice formations under this tree, I like the tiny icicles clinging to the Branch! Well presented, best to you in the contest!

This is awesome!! Gorgeous frozen ice and snow over branches. I love black and white and this one is wonderful. Terrific depth and good details. I love how the ice hangs. This is such a good contender for the contest.

A very fine shot with a good exposure for the snow. The variety of forms in the ice and snow is beautiful and looks particularly good in this black and white image. Best of luck in the contest.

A nice entry for the cold contest. The varying heights of the snow and ice make an interesting image, and the snow looks so fresh.Good luck!

I am freezing just from looking at this. This indeed looks very cold. The snow seems to be covered with an layer of ice. The conversion to black and white intensifies the contradiction between the snow and the dark barren branches at left. The light is used nicely. It emphasizes the snow, but there are no blow outs or loss of detail.
