That is it, Christmas cards sorted. Yellow Stone Valley is very often on our tv It is magnificent. If I ever get to the USA again, I will visit it. lovely cool blues offset by jagged lines of mountains and fir trees to give the image interest.

Although I hate winter, your painting is beautiful.
Your evergreens are done really well.
Great job in using all of the different shades of white for your snow.
Your mountains are lovely.
But I like the sky the most.
Great job, thanks for sharing.

This is really a gorgeous winter scene and the tones of blue, silver, and tan all fit together beautifully to make this one amazing work of art. This has excellent depth and detail and is shaded perfectly. Best wishes in the competition.

Nice pastel painting! I like the proportion of the sky and the ground. Soft contrast, just a few colors used but it looks great and shows how the cold season affects the nature

Lovely winterscape of the mountains. You can indeed sense the cold and blustery feel of this scene. Starting with the sky and its cold icy blue textured with clouds the scene is set. The craggy mountains are well presented in a realistic manner. The snow frosted evergreens stand out along the snow covered path. This is well imagined and beautifully presented.

A very cold looking work of art, like the way you have created a frozen stream to take us pass trees covered in snow and on into the mountains covered in snow, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

Wonderful initial impression: this does indeed look like a cold and foggy afternoon in the mountains, I like the icy path in the fore that leads us into this scene, the ice and snow covered rocks on the sides of the path are well created, I love the snow flocked evergreen trees , they looks so beautiful standing here at the base of these mountains, the mountains show nice detail and various amounts of snow with some of the mountain surface rock showing through, I like the way you show the various textures and dimensions in this work and the way you show the depth between the foreground and the sky, the color tones throughout this image are cool tones and show very well through the fog in the air. The sky is a wonderful mixture of the various blue tones with visible white clouds spread throughout . This is a well thought out and arranged scene, this may resemble Yellowstone valley, but for me, this makes Portage valley in Alaska come to mind, this is beautiful work and it was truly a pleasure to view! Best to you in the contest!
